About Us
Why we built a simple, free way to read the text in any picture.
Our story
ImageTranslationTool started with a small frustration. Someone sends a photo of a sign, a menu or a document in a language you do not read, and the only option is to type every word into a translator by hand. That is slow, and it is easy to get wrong.
We built this site so you can drop the picture in and read what it says. No account, no app to install, no watermark.
What we do
Our tool finds the text in an image using optical character recognition (OCR), then translates it into the language you choose. You always see the recognized text next to the translation, so you can spot a misread letter before you rely on the result.
What we believe
- Clear and honest. Machine translation is helpful, not perfect. We say so, and we point you to a professional when the stakes are high.
- Respect for your privacy. Images are read in your browser. We keep data collection to the minimum a free site needs. See our Privacy Policy.
- Useful content. Our guides are written to help you get a real result, not to repeat keywords.
Who writes the guides
Our articles are written and reviewed by our editorial team, which tests each tool and method described before publishing it. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we will fix it.
